No. We care more about your actual experience and outcomes than a credential. That said, if you have one (ICF, NBC-HWC, CPT, RD, etc.), it speeds up review. If your specialty requires a license to practice (e.g. licensed therapy or medical nutrition), we'll ask to verify it.
A 1099 independent contractor. Muse is your platform, not your employer. You set your rates, your hours, your offers. We issue you a 1099-NEC at year-end. You handle your own taxes (we make it as painless as we can, clean exports, CPA-friendly).
Yes. There's no exclusivity clause. Many of our coaches still see direct clients off-platform, run their own newsletter, do paid speaking, etc. Muse is a place to work; not a contract that owns your practice.

Clients fill out an intake (specialty, goals, vibe preferences) and we surface relevant coaches. They can browse the directory or take a "find me a coach" quiz. Your profile, reviews, and intro video do the conversion work. We don't sell leads.
No. Every booking is a request you approve or decline. You'll see who they are, what they're working on, and whether you're a fit. Declining doesn't ding your visibility. Most coaches accept ~80% of requests.
Your no-show policy is yours to set. The default is: full charge if cancelled within 12 hours, free reschedule before that. We collect automatically; you don't chase anyone for money.
Absolutely, and we encourage it. Send them your Muse profile link, they book and pay through us, you get the same operations layer for clients you already love. Many coaches use Muse just for this and don't bother with the public directory.
Cancel any time, no penalty. We give you a clean export of your client list, session history, and content. We're not in the business of holding your practice hostage.
No. Muse is human-coach-only. We use AI internally for matching and for admin help (transcripts, summaries, reminders), but every session is one human coach, one human client. Nothing about coaching can be replaced by a chatbot, and we're not trying.
